Thysanoplusia orichalcea, known as the Slender Burnished Brass or Soybean looper (though technically it is not a member of the Looper moth family), is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found from Southern Europe and Africa to Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
The wingspan is 36-44 mm. The moth flies from August to October, depending on the location.
The larvae feed on various herbaceous plants, including crops such as Sunflower, Potato and Soybean.
